This really looks like summer and isn’t the Rails quilt on the back of the sofa just a great finishing touch to the look of this outdoor room?
Cindy made this fabulous version of BQ as an anniversary gift for her son and daughter-in-law. Quilted by Paulina. PS – They loved it!
Dianne created this special BQ quilt with African fabric given to her from a missionary they support in Uganda. A great quilt with so many special fabrics. Love all the different patterns and styles. She added a 4" border of the bright stripe.
Susie uses such great color combinations! Show Off looks very fresh and modern in this quilt.

Joyce teamed up with her grandson Drake to create this wonderfully colorful African version of Stackables 2. Drake did the piecing and Grandma Joyce did the quilting. They were gifted these authentic African fabrics from Missionary friends. This quilt will be given to a family in Uganda. It is so vibrant and fun to look at. Quilting with my grands is my dream!
Anelise created this BQ3 quilt to represent childhood memories for her sons who spent some of their growing up time in Africa. I just love the varied pictures and prints that make up this BQ3 project! Her husband, Robert did the photography and Missouri Star quilts did the quilting. Look at the fun fussy cut corner squares and the variety animal skins with the black to pop everything! Fabulous for sure.
Thank you all so much for supporting Maple Island Quilts. We appreciate you all the time.
Have a great summer of quilting, family and friends.
