Winter Recap

Originally published 2/27/2024, via email

Here in Minnesota, the weather has been so mild, it hardly seems like winter. I hope that wherever you are you it has been a good time to quilt.

Some readers have sent us some fabulous versions of patterns from Maple Island Quilts and we always love to share these fresh ideas with you.

Clothworks created these wonderful Wobble digital quilts with Earth Song by Laurel Burch. The projects are 48 x 62. www.clothworks.com

Mary Lou created this version of BQ5 Encore using the 9” blocks. Thanks to The Other Quilt Shop for testing this pattern last year! www.theotherquiltshop.com

Susan used the Diva 5 as inspiration to set this special center and use her collection of Australian indigenous prints. It just makes me smile! The Diva 5 pattern does NOT contain instructions for this project!

Jeanette created this Scooch Over 2 memory quilt for a friend by using pieces of her husband’s Hawaiian shirts. What a wonderful remembrance project. Her friend commented that it was like postcards from heaven. 54"x 72".

BQ2 remains a popular way to showcase big and beautiful prints. Lori from AllAboutColorQuilting.com created this spectacular version. Her website, www.allaboutcolorquilting.com has all the fabrics from Kaffe Fassett and friends. You may have seen her booth at various shows around the US. You can get a kit of this BQ2 project at her website or by calling: 952-471-0131

We have a special for you! Buy any 2 patterns and receive Diva 5 FREE. Don’t put it on your order or you will be charged for it. No codes needed; if you purchase 2 patterns you will automatically receive the free Diva 5. Special runs through March 3, 2024 only.

Thank you so much for supporting our patterns and for sharing your work with us. We always enjoy seeing your creative versions of our titles. Enjoy the remainder of what should be the winter months!
